Itineraries
Friends and family often ask me, how did you plan a trip to xyz location?
I figured the easiest way to share that information was to write out our itineraries for those who might like to recreate parts of those trips in their own travel adventures.
My suggestion is not to follow them exactly - I've made lots of mistakes and wound up very tired after keeping ourselves so busy. However, feel free to use them as an outline to give you an idea of what's possible, but sprinkled with the things that you find interesting and worthwhile.
Most importantly, have fun and enjoy exploring the world!

COLONIAL MEXICO
GUANAJUATO, SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE,
& OAXACA
Not exactly the typical Mexican vacation scenes, the colonial highland cities of Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende and Oaxaca make up for the lack of beaches in other enchanting (and delicious) ways. While not quite off the beaten path, these cities are still slightly less touristy than their beachy counterparts, with real life waiting around every corner.
