Loving Paris is cliché.

I am 100% okay with that. No other city on this earth has captured my heart in the same way that Paris captured mine during my first trip there in 2012. And since that first trip, I have gone out of my way to add Paris to any European itinerary, even if it doesn't quite make sense to the overall agenda. That's because no matter how many times you visit Paris, it will never be enough times. Paris wraps its tendrils around your heart and never ever lets go.

You may have preconceptions about Paris, some negative and some positive. All will be revealed to be true - the charming streets and architecture, the gritty outskirts, an air of nonchalance but also a real kindness and earnestness in your dealings with Parisians. Go to Paris with an open mind, and you'll find the people more engaging than you may have anticipated. Go to Paris for the clichés - the food, the fashion, the culture, they are all there waiting for you to explore. They are just as you dreamed, but maybe even a little better.
