BIG CITY LIGHTS OR

SMALL TOWN LIVING

of big city lights, mountainous retreats, quaint farm villages, thundering waterfalls, glacier-carved valleys, gourmet food and world-class wines, New York has it all.

It's true that most people think of New York City when they first hear the words "New York," and it's not hard to see why. As the US's most visited destination, New York City, or simply, "the city" as it's known in the Tri-State area, is a place like no other on earth.

Yet, if you only see New York for the concrete jungle, you'll be missing out on some of the US's most beautiful landscape, where hillsides of colorful leaves fill the countryside in autumn, with plenty of slopes to ski, parks to visit, waterfalls to admire, and surprisingly friendly people abound. Don't worry, there's also that famous New York attitude enough to go around for everyone. Growing up as New York's neighbor, and having married my very own New Yorker, I have to begrudgingly admit that New York has become one of my favorite places to visit. Let me show you around my second home away from home.
