Mexico
Colorful, enchanting, and inviting,
Mexico was a country I had only witnessed from a cruise ship or a random two hour jaunt to Tijuana when I was twenty years old. Fast forward to 2021, and Ben and I took a trip to the Central Highlands, home of the Mexican Independence movement, followed by a trip down to Oaxaca, one of the world's most famous food destinations. Follow along as we tried our hand at different cooking classes, enjoyed the sights and scenes of some of the most adorable cities in the world, and got to see a different side of Mexico than an all-inclusive resort along the beach.

Guanajuato
Making it's name as a former silver-mining town, this well preserved city is infinitely walkable, charming, and delightful. Though we barely scratched its surface, it's the kind of place that has you wanting to come back for more.

San Miguel de Allende
Home to a thriving artist community and impressive food scene, San Miguel de Allende is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing pace of life enveloped by beautiful surroundings.

OAXACA
Known for its world famous culinary traditions, Oaxaca (pronounced 'wa-ha-ca') is feast for the senses. From the sights and smells of the Hall of Meats, to the intricate and delicately designed pieces of arts, to the raucous street processions celebrating life, Oaxaca is a place like no other.
